Raising Money For The Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Birmingham Hydro Active Women ~ 3rd Sept 2006


On the 3rd September 2006 at 7am along with my good friend Caroline we made the journey to Birmingham to join in with the Hydro Active 5k (3 Mile) Womens Run.

We then took our place on the start line, and before we knew it the crowds were moving forward and we were off. It took quite a while to actually cross the start line and get free of people to be able to run normally.

The course was quite hilly with long stretches being uphill, me being a good old Norfolk Gal, I'm not really used to hills. It was quite windy and there were parts where it was real hard work but the whole way along people were cheering us on and the atmosphere was wonderful.
